A Day of Gratitude with the Albino Charity Organization of Zimbabwe

Yesterday, we had the privilege of visiting the Albino Charity Organization of Zimbabwe, an inspiring group of individuals dedicated to supporting children living with albinism. This organization, largely run by selfless volunteers, plays a vital role in advocating for the rights, protection, and wellbeing of people with albinism in Zimbabwe. Their tireless commitment to this vulnerable group of children is nothing short of remarkable.

Our visit was driven by one simple yet powerful intention: to express our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible work they do every single day. To show our appreciation, we handed over 10 grocery hampers to the volunteers—small tokens of thanks for the big hearts they bring to their work. These volunteers are often the unsung heroes, quietly dedicating their time and energy to uplifting others, and we believe their efforts deserve to be celebrated and supported.

Beyond the handover, we shared a warm and joyful braai together. It was a time of connection, storytelling, laughter, and meaningful conversation. We exchanged experiences and ideas on how we can collectively build a more inclusive and compassionate society where children with albinism are protected, empowered, and given equal opportunities to thrive.

What stood out most was the unwavering spirit of those we met—their kindness, their passion, and their hope. Days like these remind us why community matters, and why it is so important to recognize and uplift the people who dedicate their lives to serving others.

We left the visit not just with full hearts, but with renewed purpose. We remain committed to supporting such changemakers, and to walking hand in hand with those who believe in a more loving and just world for every child—regardless of their skin.
