On July 17 2024, we had the privilege of visiting Rest Haven Primary School in Goromonzi District to support over 70 vulnerable children with essential school supplies. This initiative aimed to ease the burden on families struggling to make ends meet and empower students to focus on their education.
The children, from ECD to Grade 7, were thrilled to receive hampers filled with pens, exercise books, and other vital stationery. To further support their learning journey, we also donated school shoes, ensuring they walk confidently into their future. Additionally, we provided the school administration with much-needed stationery supplies to enhance their operations. Recognizing the challenges faced by young girls, we donated sanitary pads to promote their dignity and uninterrupted school attendance.
These efforts were made possible by the generous contributions of our supporters. Rest Haven Primary serves a community where many parents face financial hardships, making it difficult for the school to meet its developmental goals. Initiatives like this bridge the gap, providing hope and resources where they are most needed.
